We offer a choice of NAMUR mount control solenoids, including corrosion resistant poppet valve models & economical spool valve types including pulse on/pulse off as well as standard energise to operate, de-energise to release, 3/2 & 4/5 types.
Our Mercon 10 Bar PVC ball valve is designed specifically for actuation with an integral ISO actuator mount. We offer a range of Mercon electric & pneumatic actuators to complete a compact and cost effective package. Manufactured to an exacting industrial specification all of the critical sealing faces are CNC machined to ensure a long service life free of leaks. The valve nuts are designed with extra reinforcing material in the area that applies contact pressure to the union end. The large contact surface area between the nut and the collar creates a secure sealing pressure on the union end. The valve nut threads are a proprietary, extra deep, buttress design to provide reliable security in high temperature applications. The union ends have a tapered pressure collar to eliminate the stress riser often found on inferior products. The solvent cement sockets are of the ANSI schedule 80 tapered design. These are up to 80% stronger than the parallel PN16 plumbing system sockets. This extra strength is gained in the interference zone where the pipe OD is slightly larger than the socket ID. We recommend our range of Spears® solvent cements to maximise the benefits of this robust socket design.
Our active seal design features an “O” ring positioned behind each of the PTFE seats, permitting differential expansion between the ball & the valve body. This ensures smooth low torque operation with a drip tight seal, even when there is considerable difference between the fluid & ambient temperatures.
This actuation package is competitively priced to be attractive to the OEM as well as compact & simple to install. The double union construction allows radial removal of the valve body so the end user has the benefit of a fully serviceable valve. Easy to remove without disturbing the pipework.
